Michael Raffl is slated to miss one-to-two weeks with a lower-body injury.

Michael Raffl has now spent 10 games playing on the top line with Claude Giroux and Jake Voracek.

The Flyers have won every game over that span with Giroux and Voracek playing a major role in Philadelphia's surge. "My back is really sore from carrying G and Jake. It wears me down," joked Raffl. Offensively Raffl hasn't seen a significant spike in production on the line as he has three goals and an assist in 10 contests. Voracek praised Raffl for his strength on the puck and physicality. As long as Voracek and Giroux are able to produce with Raffl on the ice, that line is likely to stay intact.

Michael Raffl didn't take part in Tuesday's practice.

The Flyers called it a maintenance day, but coach Dave Hakstol passed on the opportunity to confirm Raffl's availability for Wednesday's game. Still, he should be in the lineup.

Michael Raffl was upset with himself when he was a healthy scratch Friday.

Raffl was back in the lineup Saturday and played like he used to as he was a plus-two on the night. "One of the reasons I got scratched was because I was trying to do too much," he said. "I wasn't being the guy I should be which is a 200-foot guy...If you aren't good enough, the other guys are ready to play too and you have to respect your teammates. You have to figure out what you did wrong and fix it or do stuff even better and that did give me an extra push out there."

Michael Raffl will return to the lineup Saturday against the Wild.

Raffl is off to a slow start thus far through six games with but a goal and 11 hits. Unfortunately that makes him difficult to recommend for your squad.

Look for Michael Raffl to replace Brayden Schenn on Philadelphia's top line for the time being.

Based on Friday's practice it looks as if Raffl will skate alongside Claude Giroux and Wayne Simmonds for the Flyers' first three games while Schenn sits out a suspension for a hit he administered in last season's playoffs. Adjust your lineup accordingly for the first week of the regular season.
