Michael Raffl found the back of the net in Philadelphia's 6-1 loss to the Washington Capitals in Game 3 Monday night.
It was Raffl's first career playoff goal in his 10th postseason contest. He scored just 57 seconds into the game to give Philadelphia the early edge, but obviously the Flyers couldn't hold onto it. It is worth adding that the two teams remained within a goal of each other until the third period when the Capitals broke loose with four consecutive power-play goals. Brandon Manning and Sam Gagner each registered an assist on Raffl's goal. Apr 18 - 10:00 PM

Michael Raffl scored a goal and two assists in Sunday's 5-2 win over the New York Islanders.

Raffl isn't known for his offensive ability, but with regulars like Claude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds and Sean Couturier being rested in a meaningless game, he was the one to step up. Raffl scored the game-winning goal in the second period and he picked up assists on third period goals by Scott Laughton and R.J. Umberger. Raffl finishes the season with 13 goals and 18 assists. The Flyers will open the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Washington Capitals.

Raffl opened the scoring early in the first period and added his second of the game and 12th of the year seven minutes into the second period. The 27-year-old has 12 goals and 25 points in 68 games this year. He finished the evening with an impressive stat line consisting of a plus-2 rating, five shots on goal, one hit, and one blocked shot.

Michael Raffl has extended his stay with Philadelphia to the tune of $7.05M over three years, with no extra clauses or bonuses attached.

That's a $2.35AAV, in case you're wondering. Raffl has posted eight goals and 17 points in 61 games this season. The 28-year-old forward has not provided much production for fantasy, scoring just 38 goals and 67 points in 196 career NHL games. But he'll still provide quality depth for a team in need of some.

Raffl gave the Flyers a 2-1 lead at the 3:15 mark of the third period. Shayne Gostisbehere and Scott Laughton picked up the assists on Raffl's goal. He has eight goals and 15 points in 57 games this season.
Feb 19 - 11:17 PM

Michael Raffl led the Flyers to a 5-1 victory over the Sabres on Thursday night with a goal and an assist.

The 27-year-old has just 12 points in 52 games this season. His inconsistency is detrimental to his fantasy value.
Feb 11 - 9:55 PM

Michael Raffl scored the game winning goal on Thursday night in the Flyers' 2-0 win over Vancouver.

Raffl now has seven points in 32 games so far this season, while three of those points have come in the past four games. Raffl couldn't produce on the Flyers' top line and is not worth a roster spot on your fantasy team.

Michael Raffl lit the lamp in the Flyers’ 4-1 loss to the Blue Jackets on Saturday night.

The Flyers’ only offense came in the second period. Raffl’s goal was just his second of the season in 27 games. He only has four points, so he’s not a fantasy factor in any sense of the word. Brayden Schenn and Shayne Gostisbehere got the assists.

Michael Raffl will drop to the fourth line for the start of Tuesday's game.

Brayden Schenn will take Raffl's spot on the top line alongside Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek. Schenn was a healthy scratch last game, while Raffl has just three points in 17 games this year.

Michael Raffl ended his personal 16-game goal drought with a redirection for Philadelphia's only goal in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss.

After fanning on a tip-in off a set faceoff play, Raffl eventually worked his way to the slot off a cycle for a sweet redirection of a Claude Giroux feed past Karri Ramo. It only took 16 games and about three dozen shots, but Raffl can finally exhale and just go play.

Michael Raffl (upper body) feels ready to return to the lineup.

He was back at practice Monday after collapsing on the bench Saturday and said he felt "fine." Raffl expects to play against Buffalo on Tuesday night and he'll probably be back on the top line if that happens.

The Philadelphia Flyers revealed that Michael Raffl, Sean Couturier and Michal Neuvirth are all day-to-day with upper-body injuries.

Raffl collapsed on the Flyers' bench on Saturday, and considering the issues for the other two, it wouldn't be that shocking if day-to-day meant quite a few days indeed. Stay tuned for updates on each player.

Michael Raffl's (head) status for Tuesday's game is unknown at this time.

Raffl took an elbow to the head from Jarret Stoll and apparently collapsed at the bench. He was taken to the dressing room but did not require going to the hospital as he seemed fine afterwards. Raffl was seen joking around after the game and that is great news. He has only one assist in seven games despite being on the top line with Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek.

The Flyers say Michael Raffl is doing OK after he collapsed at the bench Saturday night against the Rangers.

Raffl took an accidental elbow from Jarret Stoll in the second period and needed to be helped to the dressing room. General manager Ron Hextall said Raffl is fine, while Claude Giroux said Raffl "looks good now." It’s unclear if Raffl will miss any time.

Michael Raffl suffered an upper-body injury Saturday night.

The Flyers-Rangers game had to briefly be stopped in the second period as Raffl collapsed on the bench and needed help to the locker room. He will not return to the game. Raffl took an accidental elbow from Jarret Stoll just before the incident at the bench, so it's plausible to assume he's suffering from a concussion. The 26-year-old has one assist in seven games this season.
