Ryan Hartman will draw back into the lineup on Tuesday night.

Hartman has been a healthy scratch for the last two games after the team wasn't happy with some of his undisciplined play. He picked up six penalty minutes in 10:22 of ice time against Washington on Dec. 6. It's unclear who will be scratched, but Richard Panik could be a possibility.

Ryan Hartman registered an assist in the Blackhawks' 3-2 shootout loss to Dallas on Saturday.

Hartman's production has come in waves this season. He got off to an amazing start with three goals and nine points in his first seven contests this season, but after that he just had one point from Oct. 19 through Nov. 25. He's started to heat up again though with four points in his last four games.

Ryan Hartman isn't upset about being a healthy scratch this past Sunday, but he is eager to get another chance and to get back into the lineup.

"It's part of hockey," Hartman said. "There's times where we needed to change things up because things aren't going well. I went through some of those last year and I came back strong, so I'm looking forward to getting back in." After a hot start, he has posted one goal and no assists in his last 10 appearances.

Ryan Hartman found the back of the net in Chicago's 6-3 loss to Colorado on Saturday.

That's the good news. The bad news is that Hartman logged just 8:30 minutes of ice time. At one point he had been skating alongside Patrick Kane, but he's been knocked down to the fourth line. Hartman has plenty of potential, but he'll need to work his way back into a top-six position if he is going to be worth owning in the long run. Maybe netting that goal will help him regain his former role though.

Ryan Hartman was on the fourth line during Thursday's practice.

Hartman has played primarily on the top line with Patrick Kane this season, so this is a big demotion for him. Hartman got off to a monster start with a five-point game, but he's been limited to a goal and no assists in his last five contests. His move to the fourth line might be temporary, but this is a big concern for Hartman owners. Richard Panik was skating with Kane and Nick Schmaltz instead.

Ryan Hartman received a $2,320.79 fine for slashing Brayden McNabb during Tuesday's game against Vegas.

Ryan Hartman tallied his third goal of the season in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to St. Louis.

Ryan Hartman scored a goal and an assist in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild.

Hartman tied the game at one at the 8:21 mark of the third period. He then added an assist on Jonathan Toews' power play goal in the final minute of regulation. This was Hartman's second multi-point game which is a little surprising. The Hawks forward now has two goals and eight points in five games this season. Keep in mind, five of those points were scored in one game. Hartman's offensive production will dip sooner than later, but he'll have good fantasy value in leagues that award points for penalty minutes.
