Oliver Bjorkstrand looks like a lock to make the Columbus Blue Jackets this season.
That being said, you never know what is going on in the head of head coach John Tortorella. Bjorkstrand was taken in the third round of the 2013 Draft and has been on an upward trend ever since. He had four goals and eight points in 12 NHL games last season and was a huge part of the Lake Erie Monsters climb to the Calder Cup as he was named MVP off his 10 goals, including five in the final three games. Look for a 40 point-plus season from Bjorkstrand and draft him in most keeper leagues. Sep 25 - 6:57 AM

Oliver Bjorkstrand had two goals and three assists in Columbus' 8-5 victory over Minnesota in a prospects' game.

Obviously, given that we're talking about an exhibition contest with rosters that consisted only of prospects, it's not recommended to read much into the statistics. In Bjorkstrand's case though, this is an extension of his previous dominance over his peers. Bjorkstrand recorded over 100 points in each of his last two WHL campaigns, including 2014-15 when he had 63 goals and 118 points in 59 games. He'll be competing for a roster spot at the main camp, although we wouldn't bet on him making the team yet.
