Brad Hunt has been reassigned to the AHL's Chicago Wolves.

Hunt was summoned by St. Louis on Wednesday and didn't end up playing for the Blues. He has three goals and 10 points in eight AHL contests this season.

The move will act as insurance just in case Alex Pietrangelo is unable to play on Thursday. Hunt has produced 10 points in eight games with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL this year.

Brad Hunt will probably play for the Chicago Wolves of the AHL in 2016-17.

He played there in 2011-12 and 2012-13. Hunt inked a one-year, two-way deal with the Blues earlier this month. He didn't have a point in seven appearances with the Oilers last season, but he produced 13 goals and 28 assists in 57 matches with Bakersfield.

The Edmonton Oilers have reassigned Brad Hunt to AHL Bakersfield.

With a nine day break between now and their next game on Feb. 2nd against Columbus, Edmonton will save a bit of money on the cap and get Hunt some extra playing time. Through 21 career NHL games Hunt has three points and little else to his credit.

Through 20 career NHL games spread out since 2013, Hunt has three points with 15 hits and 19 blocks. Which is not nearly enough to warrant attention for fantasy purposes.

The 27-year-old had no points in six games during his stint in the NHL. Even if he returns to the Oilers this season, Hunt won't have any fantasy value.

A travel delay cost him a chance to play on Sunday, but he will replace Nikita Nikitin when the Oilers take on Los Angeles. Hunt had three points and a minus-6 rating in 11 games with Edmonton last season.

In the wake of placing Brandon Davidson on IR, the Edmonton Oilers have recalled Brad Hunt from AHL Bakersfield.

Hunt is having a nice season for the Condors with five goals and 23 points in 27 games, unfortunately he's now 27-years-old and has but 14 games of NHL experience. So we wouldn't rush out to grab him.

He amassed 51 points, including 19 goals, in 62 games with the AHL's Oklahoma City Barons this past campaign. In 11 appearances with the Edmonton Oilers, Hunt produced one goal and two helpers to go with a minus-6 rating.
