The San Jose Sharks have called up Antoine Bibeau.
This isn't believed to be a response to an injury. Instead, Bibeau will just act as a third goaltender on the roster in case there's an emergency situation that warrants him. It's the playoffs, so the Sharks don't need to worry about the regular season roster limits. Apr 12 - 2:53 PM

"Antoine Bibeau has been an important addition to our organization," said Sharks assistant GM Joe Will. "He has proven to be one of the best goaltenders in the American Hockey League as evidenced by his selection to the AHL All-Star Game and strong play throughout the year. The contract extensions of Martin Jones, Aaron Dell and now Antoine Bibeau solidify a strong goaltending core." He has posted a 16-11-2 record with a .925 save percentage, a 2.17 goals-against average and three shutouts at the AHL level this year.

Antoine Bibeau isn't listed on San Jose's active roster anymore.

This suggests that he has been returned to the minors, which would indicate good news for Martin Jones' status. The Sharks play on the road against Florida on Friday and visit Tampa Bay on Saturday. We should know more shortly.
