Viktor Svedberg blocked a game-high five shots in Saturday's 1-0 win over Tampa Bay.

When you win a game 1-0, every blocked shot becomes that much more important. The 6'8, 238 pound defenseman should have a bigger role with 'Hawks now that Duncan Keith is out due to injury. The 24-year-old has one goal in seven games this season and won't have much fantasy value as the season goes on.

Viktor Svedberg scored his first NHL goal Thursday night.

He had four shots on goal in a 4-1 loss to Washington. The Blackhawks think highly of the 6-foot-8, 238-pound blueliner. Svedberg has been gaining confidence each game, which will make it difficult for David Rundblad to get back into the lineup.
