The Montreal Canadiens have announced that they have place forward Daniel Carr on waivers with the intent to send him to the AHL.
Carr appeared in 33 games last season with the Canadiens, picking up two goals and nine points during that stretch. He was battling for a roster spot but ultimately wasn't deemed good enough by management. He will likely be one of the first call-ups when the Canadiens get hit with the injury bug. Sep 30 - 12:24 PM
