Ville Peltonen has signed with Dynamo Minsk in the KHL.

His agent told the Panthers' acting general manager Randy Sexton a few weeks ago that his client was planning to play in Europe next season and Peltonen made good on his promise. He registered 12 goals and 31 points in 79 games with Florida last campaign.

Although Ville Peltonen and Radek Dvorak indicated they would like to return to the Panthers next season, nothing is certain.

Both are unrestricted free agents and the Panthers may wish to expand their youth movement leaving them on the outside looking in. Peltonen was rumored to be interested in playing in Europe if an agreement can't be reached with the Cats.

Ville Peltonen scored a goal in a 7-2 loss Saturday.

Ville Peltonen is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday.

Peltonen missed the past two games after hurting his knee on a dirty hit by Tampa's Evgeny Artyukhin that cost the Lightning a two-game suspension. The Finnish veteran is proving to be remarkably tough as he's also still skating on a broken foot. Both injuries would have kept many NHLers out longer. He was hot prior to the injury with four goals and seven points in the past seven games.

Ville Peltonen is proving to be either incredibly tough or a remarkably fast healer.

Peltonen hurt his knee in a vicious knee-on-knee collision with Tampa's Evgeny Artyukhin - who was suspended for the play - but could have played Wednesday if it were the playoffs. He will almost surely return when the team resumes play next week after the All-Star break. Just last week, Peltonen broke his foot, but didn't miss any game action. Despite all this, Peltonen still collected four goals and seven points over the past seven games.

Ville Peltonen will not return to the lineup until next week at the earliest.

Peltonen is out with a knee injury he suffered after a dirty hit by Tampa's Evgeny Artyukhin, who was suspended for two games because of the incident. Peltonen suffered a bruised knee, but was thankfully spared anything more serious. The veteran winger could use the rest as he's been playing the past week with a broken foot as well.

Ville Peltonen did not play in Florida's 3-2 loss to the Sabres on Monday.

He suffered an injury on Saturday in a knee-on-knee collision with the Lightning's Evgeny Artyukhin. Artyukhin was suspended for two games for the questionable hit. Peltonen's status for Wednesday is uncertain, but stay tuned for more information.

Ville Peltonen's status for Monday's game is doubtful.

He underwent an MRI on his injured right knee on Sunday and the team is supposed to know the extent of the damage later on Monday. Peltonen sustained the injury on Saturday after a hit from Lightning forward Evgeny Artyukhin in the second period.

Ville Peltonen suffered a knee injury in the second period on Saturday and did not return.

Peltonen was already playing with a broken foot, so this certainly won’t help. He will be re-evaluated on Sunday. He could be out a while.

Ville Peltonen participated in Florida's Thursday morning practice.

Peltonen intends to play in Friday's game against Philadelphia even though he's suffering from a broken foot. Peltonen was originally scheduled to be sidelined with the injury for weeks, but he didn't end up missing even a single game. "Pelts has made a miraculous recovery and a lot of that is his will to play," coach Pete DeBoer said. Play him if you normally would.

Ville Peltonen will play Friday despite a broken foot.

Peltonen hurt his foot in Florida's last game, on Saturday, against the Thrashers. He is playing the best hockey of NHL career with four goals and six points in the past five games. He was originally thought to be lost for two weeks, but will return after just six days. The injury didn't appear to affect his on-ice ability in practice this week, but it still may affect his game play. It does, however, appear safe to keep him active.

Ville Peltonen will miss at least the next two weeks with a broken foot.

This is a tough loss for Florida as Peltone had collected four goals and six points in the past five games. If you picked him up during this hot streak, reserve him immediately.
