Luke Kunin registered the first two points of his NHL career on Saturday.

Kunin assisted on goals by Ryan Suter and Daniel Winnik. Kunin was playing in his third game of the season and logged a modest 11:57 minutes. He's a good prospect and one worth keeping an eye on, but we'd caution against getting too optimistic about his outlook for the 2017-18 campaign. He still doesn't have a particularly big role and might not stick with the Wild once some of their key forwards are able to return from their respective injuries.

Luke Kunin has been summoned by the Minnesota Wild.

Kunin made his NHL debut on Saturday, but then was demoted on Sunday. Minnesota had a long stretch of time off though, so that was likely the reason for sending him down. If he plays on Friday as expected then he wouldn't have missed any ice time with the Wild since Saturday's contest.
