The team will allow him to test unrestricted free agency. Tanguay was acquired from Colorado in the Mikkel Boedker trade and he generated 13 points in 18 games with the Coyotes. Tue, Jun 14, 2016 04:07:00 PM

Alex Tanguay found the back of the net in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Edmonton Oilers.

He scored while the Coyotes were on a 5-on-3 power play. Tanguay has produced at an impressive pace since joining the Coyotes. The 36-year-old has three goals and six points in five games with his new team. He may be on a nice run, but his fantasy upside will continue to be limited down the stretch. "This is going to be fun. It’s going to be one of those nights where those are friends that last Saturday I was still playing with in the outdoor classic. It’s going to be difficult, but I’m (an Arizona) Coyote now, and I’m going to try to play my hardest for them." Tanguay was part of the package Arizona got back in exchange for Mikkel Boedker.

Tanguay had two goals and an assist in his first game with his new club. Even if six goals and 25 points don’t show it, Tanguay, 36, still has something left in the tank … just not for fantasy players. Antoine Vermette (goal, three assists), Shane Doan and Jordan Martinook got the other goals. Anthony Duclair picked up two assists.
