It is possible that Alex Tanguay (knee) could play on Colorado's upcoming road trip.
Starting Saturday night the Avs go on a five-game road trip culminating in a December 5th game in Minnesota. If Tanguay is able to return to action during that trip, he will have missed only 3-4 weeks of action, which was at the lower end of the original prognosis given at the time of his injury. Alex Tanguay scored the game winning overtime goal and added an assist in Colorado's 5-4 win over Anaheim on Tuesday.

At the tender age of 35, Tanguay is coming off one of his better campaigns where he posted 22 goals and 33 assists for 55 points in 80 games. The biggest key to the higher point totals was the fact that he was healthy after three straight injury riddled seasons. While he isn't a guy you want to target early in fantasy drafts, he is could be worth a late flyer and is probably an even better value pick in DFS. Jack Skille also added a goal and an assist in the Avalanche preseason opener.
