The Colorado Avalanche have a 17-5-2 record with Scott Parker in the lineup.

"He brings something to the table just by his presence," coach Joel Quenneville said. "The last couple games he hasn't played a lot, but every shift, he's brought purpose to his game and he's been effective. When you are playing against teams like Calgary and Anaheim, they have big guys, and he is a factor when he plays." Despite the accolades, Parker has zero points this season and has no value in fantasy pools.

Scott Parker will get back into the Colorado lineup on Thursday.

Parker has been a healthy scratch on numerous occasions this year as he has played in only 16 games this season. He will take the spot of the demoted David Jones on the fourth line. Parker's only value is in penalty minutes as he has 63 in the 16 contests that he has participated in, but he has no points. If you need minutes, then put Parker in your lineup on Thursday.

Scott Parker played on Wednesday after missing the previous five games as a healthy scratch.

Parker was held pointless on Wednesday and did not have any penalty minutes as well. Parker has 56 PIMs in only 12 games this season, so he makes a nice pickup in fantasy pools that use penalty minutes, if you can handle his lack of scoring.
