Cory Sarich has been slowly recovering from injuries he sustained when he was hit by a Ford F-350 truck while cycling.
He suffered five cracked vertebrae, burns on his shoulder and wrist from the truck's muffler, a swollen left arm and leg, a large laceration to his head, and road rash. "My diagnosis was, pretty much, as good as it gets (for a situation like that) . . . a bit of a mess, but I'm doing well now," he said. "It's been four-and-a-half weeks and it's been a slow recovery." As you can imagine, Sarich is still feeling the effects of the accident and he's given up on cycling for good. Aug 27 - 12:43 PM
