Apr 21 - 9:32 PM

Michal Rozsival is ready to step up for the Blackhawks with Duncan Keith suspended for Game 1 of the playoffs against St. Louis.

"I'm preparing for it — definitely," Rozsival said. "If I get the call and have to play Dunc's minutes — maybe on the penalty kill and stuff, yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I'm excited. We're all excited." The veteran rearguard played well back in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final in 2013 during a different Keith suspension.
Apr 13 - 9:09 AM

Michal Rozsival (lower body) will play Monday night.

Christian Ehrhoff appears to be the odd man out, so it doesn't look like he will play against his former Los Angeles teammates. Rozsival sat out one game with a lower-body ailment.
Mar 14 - 12:42 PM

Michal Rozsival (lower body) hasn't been ruled out yet for Monday's match versus Los Angeles.

He didn't skate at practice on Sunday, but the Blackhawks will evaluate his status after Monday's morning session. Rozsival wasn't able to play on Friday because of a lower-body injury.

Mar 11 - 1:33 PM

Michal Rozsival will return to Chicago's blue line on Sunday against Detroit.

Mar 6 - 3:36 PM

Yep you're reading the stat sheet right, Michal Rozsival picked up 15 PIMs in Sunday's 6-1 loss to Minnesota.

In 924 career NHL games Rozsival has accumulated just 671 PIMs over his long career, and coming into today's game he had just 14 PIMs in 34 games this season. In fact, this is just the third time in his career that Rozsival collected double-digit PIMs in a game. The first time, oddly enough, was 12 against Minnesota in 2007 while with the Rangers.

Michal Rozsival will be a healthy scratch in Thursday's game against Dallas.

Feb 11 - 8:31 PM

Don't look now, but Michal Rozsival has a point streak.

That's right the veteran scored again, though it was only his second goal and sixth point of the season. So we'd leave him out on the wire.

Chicago has brought up Viktor Svedberg because Rozsival is nursing the ailment.
Feb 2 - 10:03 AM

Michal Rozsival and Brandon Mashinter will be scratched from Tuesday's match with Pittsburgh.

Simply put, neither represent much of a fantasy option due to their inability to strike the stat sheet in a meaningful way.

Jan 5 - 6:53 PM

Michal Rozsival will tag in for Rob Scuderi on Sunday against Ottawa.

Unfortunately, neither veteran defender has any fantasy value. With a point, 20 hits, and 31 blocks this season through 20 games, Rozsival belongs stapled to the wire.

Michal Rozsival has an assist in 18 games this season.

Rozsival didn't make his season debut until Nov. 14 due to an ankle injury and when he returned it was in a primarily complimentary role. While he logged 17:00 minutes per game in 2014-15, he's been averaging just 14:18 minutes this season. He has seen his role increase a bit as he's put distance on his injury though as he's logged 15:02 minutes per game in December.
