Mike Fisher had an assist in Nashville's 4-2 loss to Philadelphia on Sunday.
That gives Fisher five goals and 14 points in 20 contests this season. He's not a major offensive contributor, but he should at least do significantly better than 2015-16 when he finished with just 23 points in 70 games. Dec 5 - 11:22 AM

The Nashville Predators are still adjusting to having new players in leadership roles.

Guys like Shea Weber, Barrett Jackman and Paul Gaustad are all gone. Mike Fisher replaced Weber as captain and James Neal and Roman Josi were selected as alternate captains this season. "When you lose a lot of guys — not just Shea, too — guys are figuring out where their spot is early in the season," Fisher said. "It's all kind of new on the ice as well as off the ice. "We've got a lot of good guys in here that care. Our goal as a leadership group and as a team (is to) just breed a good culture where that's always happening and everyone is for the team and playing for the team and buying into what we want to accomplish altogether."
