Apr 21 - 6:20 PM

Brenden Morrow was able to play in Game 1 Thursday night, but he might be out for Saturday afternoon's match.

He is still thought to be dealing with a foot issue and he didn't take part in the pregame skate. T.J. Oshie appears to be ready to return, so he might be taking Morrow's spot in the lineup.

Though most injured Blues' players should be ready to start the playoffs, Brenden Morrow may not be one of them.

His foot injury is probably the most serious of the team's injuries at the moment. Keep that in mind when drafting in your playoff pools.

Brenden Morrow (foot) won't play on Friday.

Morrow suffered the ailment during Thursday's morning skate. He was able to take part in the Blues' pregame warmup on Thursday, but was still held out of that contest. It wouldn't be surprising if the Blues were erring heavily on the side of caution with the playoffs just around the corner.

He appeared to be OK afterward and took part in the pregame warmup, but felt some discomfort and ended up sitting out Thursday's loss to Minnesota. Consider him day-to-day for now.
Apr 11 - 10:17 AM

Brenden Morrow potted a goal for the Blues in their 2-1 win against the Sabres on Thursday night.

What makes the Blues so dangerous, though they weren't fully on their game in this one, is that they can beat you up and down their lineup. Morrow's goal was his 13th of the year. Maxim Lapierre scored the other one, while Jaden Schwartz, Vladimir Sobotka and Ryan Reaves had the helpers.
Apr 3 - 10:54 PM

Brenden Morrow will be scratched Thursday.

According to coach Ken Hitchcock, Morrow will sit some games down the stretch to keep him fresher for the playoffs. He has 10 goals and 21 points in 59 games this season. Morrow hasn't picked up a point in his past eight outings.

Count Brenden Morrow as one of the players who would have been happy to do without the Olympic break.

Morrow felt he was starting to find his groove just when the NHL season paused. He's had a disappointing season with 10 goals and 21 points in 51 games. Given that he's only averaged 12:54 minutes per contest, we don't expect him to finish the campaign on a high note.
Feb 23 - 8:57 AM

Brenden Morrow had a goal and an assist in St. Louis' 4-3 shootout victory on Saturday.

Morrow will enter the break with three points in his last three games. He now has 10 goals and 21 points in 51 contests this season.
Feb 9 - 11:10 AM

Brenden Morrow skated in his 900th career game Thursday.

"I've fooled a lot of people for a long time when you've got that many games here," Morrow said. "They all kind of blend into each other, but I'm just happy to get one in this league and to be around this long, it's just gravy on top." He received just 9:43 of ice time in St. Louis' 3-2 overtime win over Boston. Morrow has nine goals and 19 points in 50 contests.

Sunday's contest will be an emotional game for the Blues' Brenden Morrow.

It will be the first time Morrow will play in Dallas as a member of the Blues after playing in the Lone Star State for his entire 13-year career (save for the end of last season). Morrow was also the Stars' captain for seven seasons. We are expecting Morrow to receive a warm welcome and a video tribute. He may actually rise to the occaison and register a point or two. Keep that in mind when setting your rosters Sunday night.
