There is a chance Brenden Morrow will be able to play in Saturday afternoon's game against Detroit.

He has been dealing with an upper-body injury that kept him from playing Thursday. Morrow reported feeling better on Friday and is listed as questionable for Saturday's contest. Of course, even if he is healthy he could still sit in the press box as a scratch. Morrow's fantasy value has long been reduced to zero.

"Is it easy? No it's not easy," Morrow said. "It's always an adjustment, you want to do more, you want to play more. But sitting and watching, you see how good this team is and how many players that get the job done. You've got to be a professional and stay prepared." In 25 games, Morrow has averaged 9:52 of ice time and he's contributed four points.

Brenden Morrow was reinserted into Tampa Bay's lineup on Thursday.

He was a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game against Buffalo, but he played in Thursday's rematch. Morrow scored his second goal of the season and he had 10 penalty minutes in just 8:22 of playing time.

Brenden Morrow netted his first goal as a member of the Lightning on Saturday.

He has produced just three points in 23 games this season, but coach Jon Cooper likes the value that Morrow brings to Tampa Bay. "We brought Brenden Morrow for exactly what he has brought us — he's unreal in the locker room, on the ice he keeps everybody on the other team honest and he plays really hard," Cooper said. "He just brings so much to us that it's hard to keep him out of the lineup. He's one of those guys that everybody else pulls for."

He was scratched for Saturday's win over Minnesota. Morrow has no goals and two assists in 20 games this year. Vladislav Namestnikov is also projected to return from the press box on Wednesday night.
