Ubaldo Jimenez allowed six runs over four innings in the Indians' loss to the Tigers on Wednesday.
Jimenez had been on a bit of a roll before Wednesday, having not allowed more than two runs in any of his previous four starts. But the Tigers got to Jimenez for seven hits and three walks in his shortest outing since April 16. His next start will come Monday against the Reds.

Ubaldo Jimenez delivered another strong effort in a no-decision against the Mariners on Friday, surrendering two runs on seven hits over his five frames.
Jimenez racked up nine strikeouts on the evening while walking two. Unfortunately for Jimenez, Rich Hill came on in the sixth inning and immediately surrendered his 3-1 lead. Over his last four outings, he’s compiled a 1.90 ERA and 29/8 K/BB ratio over 23 2/3 innings. While he’s unlikely to continue at this pace, he’s certainly usable in all fantasy formats for the time being. He’ll look to get back in the win column when he takes on the Tigers at home on Wednesday.

Ubaldo Jimenez delivered another strong performance in Saturday night’s victory over the Tigers, allowing just one run on three hits over his six innings.
Jimenez struck out eight hitters for the second straight outing and issued just one walk. After a brutal beginning to the 2013 campaign, the right-hander has won three consecutive starts while allowing just three earned runs in 18 2/3 total innings. The overall numbers still look ugly, but he's a decent spot play right now in mixed fantasy formats.

Ubaldo Jimenez recorded his second straight win after allowing two runs in 5 2/3 innings and striking out eight A's on Monday.
The eight strikeouts was his high total since he fanned eight in a loss to the Mariners last Aug. 20. Jimenez still rates as untrustworthy at the moment, though. He'll get the Tigers in Detroit next time out.

Lou Marson (shoulder) admitted Monday that there is no timetable for his return to the Indians' active roster.
Marson has begun throwing but is not yet performing any other baseball activities due to lingering soreness in his shoulder and neck. "It's definitely frustrating," the catcher told MLB.com. "I know what it is and kind of what I have to do. Hopefully, I can get on the field soon."

Myers' velocity was down on Wednesday in his second rehab outing with Double-A Akron, and he walked four while allowing three runs over 4 1/3 frames. Assuming his velocity comes back up the next time out, he could rejoin the Indians' rotation after that.

Josh Tomlin (Tommy John surgery) could return near the end of the season.
Tomlin went under the knife last August. At this point in his rehab, it's hard to predict if a 2013 return is in the cards. Tomlin has said he'd rather be 100 percent for 2014 rather than making a premature late-season return this year. The right-hander posted a 6.36 ERA in 16 starts and five relief appearances with the Indians last season.

Wood felt some soreness in his surgically-repaired elbow during his first appearance on Saturday, but it was only a minor scare. The 27-year-old right-hander is currently in recovery mode from Tommy John surgery and will likely need a handful of appearances before he's a legitimate consideration for the major league roster.

Indians transferred RHP Frank Herrmann from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.
The move clears a spot for the newly-claimed Robert Whitenack on the 40-man roster. Herrmann had Tommy John surgery in March and will miss the entire 2013 season.
