Homer Bailey pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts in the Reds' 6-2 win over the Marlins on Tuesday.
Bailey limited the Marlins to six hits and no walks, throwing 88 of his 125 pitches for strikes. The Marlins lineup will make a Cy Young contender out of anyone, but Bailey is capable of pitching this well for sustained stretches as evidenced by his 3.68 ERA and 13 wins in 2012. He's now struck out 52 batters in 51 1/3 innings and should be a safe play in standard formats going forward. He'll get the Phillies his next time out. May 14 - 11:47 PM
