Shin-Soo Choo is in Monday's lineup against the Mets.
Choo wasn't in the original lineup, but that's only because Reds manager Dusty Baker thought that Jon Niese was pitching. However, he's back in there since Shaun Marcum is pitching for New York. Look for Choo to get the day off Tuesday.

Shin-Soo Choo went 4-for-5 with two home runs in the Reds' 4-0 win over the Marlins on Wednesday.
Choo also singled twice and scored three runs total. The leadoff hitter is now batting .322 with 33 runs scored. He's been a fantasy revelation this year, and he's showing no signs of stopping.

Shin-Soo Choo hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Reds came back to beat the Braves 5-4 on Tuesday.
The home run, which came off Braves all-everything closer Craig Kimbrel, was Choo's second of the game. The Reds' leadoff hitter now has seven on the year to go with 27 runs scored. Choo is a multi-faceted talent with all his tools on display to start 2013, and there's no reason to think he can't continue to produce across the board all season.

Reds transferred OF Ryan Ludwick from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.
It's merely a procedural move. Ludwick has been ruled out until early July with a torn labrum in his right shoulder.

The Reds have determined that Chris Heisey's hamstring aggravation was not severe.
"It wasn’t horrendous," assistant general manager Bob Miller said. "He tweaked it." Heisey won't return until the next homestand, which runs from May 24-28, at the earliest. It's certainly possible his absence could stretch into June.

Manny Parra (pectoral) struck out two in a scoreless inning Monday in his first rehab appearance with Double-A Pensacola.
No word on the timeline for his return, but he'll likely make at least one more appearance before being activated. Parra has an 8.10 ERA and 7/3 K/BB ratio over 6 2/3 innings prior to going down with a strained left pectoral muscle at the end of April.

Reds transferred RHP Nick Masset from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list.
Masset is still recovering from right shoulder surgery, and he was recently shut down after suffering a setback. The right-hander hasn't pitched since 2011.
