Phil Hughes allowed four runs over seven innings Friday in a no-decision against the Indians.
Hughes gave up 10 hits, his most in a start since back on July 11. He was in line for the loss before Cody Allen blew a save in the ninth inning. Hughes fanned five and walked none, so he now has an incredible 181/16 K/BB ratio over 201 2/3 innings. That puts him on track for the single-season MLB record, beating the 143/13 K/BB ratio that Bret Saberhagen put up in 1994. He'll make one final start next week against the Diamondbacks.
