Trevor Plouffe went 3-for-3 with a homer and three RBI in the Twins' win over the Tigers on Saturday.
Plouffe drew a walk in the second inning, hit a two-run shot in the fourth, added a double in the sixth and a run-scoring single in the seventh. It was his first game back from the disabled list. He looked refreshed.

Twins activated 3B Trevor Plouffe from the 15-day disabled list.
Plouffe, who has been sidelined since May 21 with a left calf strain, will return to a .254/.333/.425 line with four homers and 17 RBI through his first 37 games. He'll return to his role as the Twins' everyday third baseman.

Trevor Plouffe (calf) went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored Monday in his first rehab game with Triple-A Rochester.
Plouffe served as the DH, but he should test himself in the field soon. The Twins are hoping he can return from the disabled list when he's first eligible on Thursday. The 26-year-old has been sidelined since May 21 with a left calf strain.

Ramirez has been out since late May but is no longer experiencing concussion-related symptoms. He should rejoin the Twins before the end of the month.

Hicks is making progress with his strained left hamstring, but it's not clear when he'll be ready to play in games again. It might be a stretch to hope he can return before the end of the month.
