Luis Valbuena had a decent night at the dish in Friday’s loss to the Reds, going 2-for-3 with a double, run scored and RBI.
Valbuena hasn’t been great, but has done enough to lock up the everyday job as the Cubs third baseman for the time being. Through his first 38 games, he’s hitting .257/.361/.442 with five homers and 15 RBI. He could be worth a look as an injury replacement in deeper mixed leagues, especially playing half his games at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. May 24 - 10:37 PM
