Luis Valbuena hit his 18th and 19th homers Tuesday against the Angels.
Valbuena might be having the most bizarre season of anyone in the league, what with his .195 average and a homer total that ranks second in the AL. He has just 47 hits, a full 40 percent of which were homers. He showed nice pop last year, too, but that resulted in 16 homers in 478 at-bats with the Cubs. His 19 homers this year have come in 240 at-bats. We doubt he'll keep hitting homers at this rate, but then, we would have said that a month ago, too. Jun 24 - 1:30 AM
