Nate McLouth went 2-for-6 with two runs scored Friday against the Twins.
McLouth doubled and scored in a game-tying rally in the seventh and singled and scored when the Orioles finally went ahead in the 10th. The 32-year-old has thrived at the top of Baltimore's powerful lineup this season, scoring 28 runs in 31 games. Only Detroit's Austin Jackson (33 runs) has more.

Nate McLouth is not in the lineup Friday against the Angels.
McLouth has been on an absolute tear to begin the season, hitting .333/.431/.517 with three homers, 10 RBI and eight stolen bases, but Orioles' manager Buck Showalter isn't ready to trust him against southpaws. Nolan Reimold is starting in left field Friday with Jason Vargas on the hill for the Angels. Meanwhile, Steve Pearce will serve as the DH.

Nate McLouth went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in Thursday's win over the Angels.
McLouth owes an assist to Mike Trout, who had the ball deflect off his glove and over the center field fence. The 31-year-old is now hitting .333/.431/.517 with three home runs, seven doubles, 10 RBI, eight stolen bases and 23 runs scored in 25 games this season. Who knows how long it will last, but he should be owned in all fantasy formats.

Nate McLouth doubled and scored four runs in Sunday's loss to Oakland.
McLouth has now reached base in 22 of his last 36 plate appearances. He entered the game fifth in the AL in on-base percentage (.434), sixth in walks (14), and is tied with Coco Crisp for second in the majors with eight stolen bases. McLouth will come back down to earth eventually, but he's off to an impressive start. He finished 4-for-5 in the Orioles' extra-innings loss.

It's been very slow progress for Betemit in his recovery from surgery to repair a PCL tear in his right knee. He still has yet to be cleared to resume baseball activities, and the timetable for his return continues to be pushed back. He's virtually irrelevant for fantasy purposes at this point.

Orioles placed OF Nolan Reimold on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 12, with a right hamstring strain.
It's the reason why Reimold was held out of the Orioles' lineup for the fifth straight day Saturday. Chris Dickerson will likely get the majority of starts at designated hitter in his absence. Given his injury history, Reimold could be looking at an extended stay on the DL.

Wei-Yin Chen (oblique) will head to the Orioles' spring training complex Tuesday to begin his rehab.
Chen landed on the 15-day disabled list May 13 with a strained right oblique and can't pick up a baseball for at least another week. But he's allowed to do cardio work while he waits. The right-hander should be ready to rejoin the O's starting rotation in early June.

Miguel Gonzalez (thumb) is expected to be activated to start Tuesday against the Yankees.
Gonzalez was cleared to return after he threw a simulated game Friday with no issues. The 29-year-old has been sidelined since May 4 with a blister on his right thumb. He has a 4.58 ERA and 22/14 K/BB ratio in 35 1/3 innings in six starts this season.

Tsuyoshi Wada (elbow) allowed four runs over four innings Thursday in a rehab start at Triple-A Norfolk.
Wada gave up three hits and issued two walks but he fanned five batters and made it all the way to 78 pitches (45 of which were strikes). He's on his way back from Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery and is aiming to join the Orioles' starting rotation at some point in early-to-mind June. The left-hander signed a two-year, $8.15 million contract with the O's in December 2011 but has not yet thrown a pitch in a major league game.
