Tommy Hanson passed away Monday after suffering catastrophic organ failure.
Hanson was just 29. Once an elite prospect, Hanson opened his Braves career 32-22 with a 3.28 ERA in three seasons before injuring his shoulder in 2011. He won 13 more games for Atlanta in 2012 despite diminished stuff, but he made just 15 more big-league appearances afterwards, those coming with the Angels in 2013. He had since pitched in the minors for the White Sox in 2014 and Giants in 2015. Tue, Nov 10, 2015 01:47:00 AM
