Lucas Duda launched a solo homer in Sunday's loss to the Pirates.
The longball, his eighth of the season, was a mammoth blast to center field off of Jeanmar Gomez. Duda has turned into Adam Dunn this season, batting .225 with a 21/33 BB/K ratio to go along with his eight bombs.

Lucas Duda went 2-for-3 with a walk and a pair of solo homers in a win over the Nationals on Friday.
It was his second two-homer game of the young season. While Duda was a disappointment last season, he is hitting .308/.491/.744 with five home runs, two doubles and a league-leading 1.234 OPS through 14 games. He's always been a patient hitter and the Mets believe in his power, so he should be owned in deeper mixed leagues right now.

Lucas Duda (back) is back in the Mets' lineup Friday.
Duda hasn't played since exiting the second half of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Rockies because of lower back tightness. He returns to a .278/.469/.583 batting line with three longballs.

Duda left the second half of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Rox because of lower back tightness. It's freezing right now in Denver so the Mets are playing it safe. Duda should be back in action on Friday night.

Jenrry Mejia (elbow) racked up six strikeouts over three innings during his first minor league rehab start with High-A St. Lucie on Friday.
Mejia has been on the disabled list for the entire season with inflammation in his pitching elbow. He's likely to require a relatively lengthy rehab assignment, and shouldn't be expected to return to the Mets until early June. Should he secure a spot in the Mets rotation, he could carve out a decent amount of value in NL-only and deeper mixed leagues.

The move cleared a spot on the Mets' 40-man roster for Aaron Laffey. Santana (shoulder) won't pitch this season.

Francisco was diagnosed with a mild strain of the flexor pronator in his right elbow last week, but he's already back at it. However, it's not clear if he's throwing from a mound or simply playing catch or long-tossing. Either way, he's not close to rejoining the Mets' bullpen.

Collin McHugh was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas to fill the vacant bullpen spot. Atchison has been shut down for a week and prescribed anti-inflammatory medication. It's not clear when he might return.
