Anthony Rizzo went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, but the Cubs were unable to capitalize in Thursday's loss to the Dodgers.
Rizzo and leadoff man Chris Denorfia were the only ones in the lineup doing much of anything. The Cubs were unable to bring Rizzo around to score each of the three times he reached base. The first baseman has been one of the best hitters in the league -- non-Bryce-Harper division -- with a .312/.421/.586 triple-slash line, 15 home runs, 43 RBI, and 11 stolen bases. Jun 25 - 6:00 PM
