Anthony Rizzo went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs scored in Thursday afternoon's win over the Brewers.
Rizzo was one of many to take part in the barrage of homers launched by the Cubs on Thursday. In addition to Rizzo, Dexter Fowler, Chris Denorfia and Kyle Schwarber all hit long balls. Schwarber did it twice. The Brewer season cannot end quickly enough. Rizzo would surely like to luxuriate in the year 2015, though, as he's currently hitting .296/.405/.539 with 22 homers, 66 RBI and a career-best 15 steals. Aug 13 - 5:41 PM
