Anthony Rizzo delivered two hits including a solo home run Saturday in the Cubs' win over the Dodgers in Game 6 of the NLCS.
Rizzo reached on a two-base error in the first inning on a fly ball that should have been caught by left fielder Andrew Toles. He doubled into the ivy in center field in his next at-bat before mashing a goliath blast in the fifth inning for his second homer of the postseason. Prior to that at-bat, Clayton Kershaw hadn’t allowed a home run to a lefty in over a year. Rizzo was ice cold in the NLDS (1-for-15 with four strikeouts) but caught fire in the NLCS, hitting .320 for the series with five RBI. Rizzo and the Cubs will face Cleveland in Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday night. Oct 22 - 11:21 PM
