Aaron Hicks homered off Rick Porcello in the top of the seventh to help push the Yankees over the Red Sox 3-2 on Friday.
It was Hicks' first homer as a member of the Yankees. It seemed like his first hit as well, but apparently it was his fourth. He's looking at a lot more playing time now with Alex Rodriguez on the DL and perhaps Jacoby Ellsbury out for a few days. Still, he doesn't seem like a mixed-league option at the moment.
