Robbie Grossman hit his 11th home run of the season in a loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.
Grossman was the only Twins hitter able to get to Tigers starter Matt Boyd on the evening, as the southpaw allowed just three hits in his eight innings of work. After a strong start to the year, the 27-year-old hit a lull in August but is back in a big way in September, going 11-for-28 (.392) with two homers this month. He's hitting .280/.388/.459 with 11 homers, 36 RBI and 46 runs scored on the year, and could be playing himself into the 2017 conversation with a good finish. Tue, Sep 20, 2016 11:16:00 PM
