Danny Espinosa went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday’s win over the Cardinals.
After Jayson Werth gave the Nationals the lead in the fourth inning with a sacrifice fly, Espinosa followed by taking Mike Leake deep for his first home run of the season. It was nice to see, but he’ll need to do more to silence those clamoring for top prospect Trea Turner. Espinosa is batting just .194/.320/.258 through 22 games this season. Apr 30 - 12:15 AM
