Jake Marisnick clocked a three-run homer Thursday in the Astros’ 12-9 win over the Athletics.
He wasn’t in the Astros’ lineup but subbed in for George Springer, who left after getting hit by a pitch in his first at-bat. Marisnick promptly clubbed a homer off Jesse Hahn as the Astros exploded for eight runs in the second inning. That gives Marisnick a career-high 10 homers including four in the month of June. He could play regularly in center field if Springer misses extended time. Jun 22 - 7:11 PM
