Astros recalled OF Jake Marisnick from Triple-A Fresno.
Marisnick saw 10 at-bats in April, but the Astros optioned him to Triple-A at the end of the month after he managed just one hit (and six strikeouts) in his limited action. Still just 25, Marisnick slashed .236/.281/.383 with nine homers, 36 RBI, and 24 steals across 339 at-bats last season at the major league level. He won't see regular playing time, but if he can carve out a niche for himself, he at least makes for a speed option off the bench for fantasy owners in chasm-deep AL-only leagues. May 5 - 12:09 AM
