Jacob Turner struggled in a no-decision against the Tigers on Friday, allowing four runs on five hits in just 3 1/3 innings.
The right-hander did manage to strike out six in the ballgame while issuing four free passes. Turner became the first big league pitcher since Jaime Garcia in 2011 to throw 100 or more pitches in an outing that lasted 3 1/3 innings or less. He has now been blasted in each of his two starts since replacing the injured Carlos Rodon in the White Sox rotation. It's unlikely that he'll have a chance to extend that streak to three.
