Anthony Rendon was announced as the winner of the National League Comeback Player of the Year Award on Tuesday.
The award is officially sanctioned by MLB and was voted on by the 30 club beat reporters from MLB.com. Rendon was limited to just 80 games last season due to injury while batting .264 with five homers and a .707 OPS, but he bounced back in a big way back in 2016 by putting up a .270/.348/.450 batting line with 20 homers and 85 RBI in a career-high 156 games.
