Clint Robinson hit a grand slam off the Mets' Carlos Torres on Thursday.
The 30-year-old Robinson is about as good of a quad-A player as there is around today, though it doesn't seem all that fair to saddle him with that label when he's never had any chance to prove himself in the majors (he's 3-for-13 lifetime). The Nationals signed him in part because they're worried about losing the out-of-options Tyler Moore. As is, Moore would be the answer at first if Ryan Zimmerman gets hurt. However, if Moore exits, Robinson could be the fallback. Mar 12 - 6:10 PM
