Avisail Garcia went 4-for-5 with his 11th homer and three runs scored Monday in an 11-4 rout of the Indians.
It's his third career four-hit game and first of this year. Garcia, who has a .707 OPS, has been playing regularly in spite of his limitations; the plan was to drop him into a platoon role after Justin Morneau joined the team, but he's been a regular in right field with Austin Jackson done. He hasn't done a lot to justify the playing time, but the White Sox are lacking any particularly good alternatives. The White Sox will have to decide this winter whether it's worth $3 million or so to bring him back for 2017. They could choose to non-tender him. Sep 13 - 12:09 AM
