Aaron Sanchez struck out 10 batters while spinning six innings of one-run ball in Tuesday's 5-1 victory over the Orioles.
It was an intriguing pitching matchup with Sanchez and Kevin Gausman going up against two good offenses, but Sanchez easily bested his counterpart in this one. The righty walked three but permitted only five hits to go along with his 10 punchouts. He's posted quality starts in four of his last five tries and has yielded just one run in each of his last two outings, as Sanchez doesn't appear to be tiring down the stretch. He'll face the Red Sox Sunday to finish out the regular season. Sep 27 - 10:32 PM
