Brad Peacock pitched a perfect ninth inning Sunday, earning the save in a 4-1 win over the Padres.
Ken Giles had pitched the previous two days, which explains his absence to an extent, but Giles has also struggled and has been pitching in non-save situations of late. It's telling, then, that with Giles struggling and unavailable, Astros manager A.J. Hinch would turn to Peacock to close out the win. Peacock has eight strikeouts in six scoreless innings of work to date, and he should be owned in all formats given the uncertainty of the back end of the Astros bullpen, at least until some clarity is given.
