Joe Ross surrendered four earned runs over 2 2/3 innings Tuesday as the Nationals dropped Game 4 of the NLDS against the Dodgers.
Ross was handed a one-run lead after Daniel Murphy opened the game's scoring with an RBI single in the top of the first, but the right-hander gave it right back on a two-run homer by Adrian Gonzalez in the bottom half of that frame. Ross then yielded an RBI single to Justin Turner in the third inning and moments later plunked Joc Pederson with a pitch while the bases were loaded. Max Scherzer will get the ball for Washington in Thursday's decisive NLDS Game 5. Oct 11 - 8:56 PM
