Stephen Vogt went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and three RBI in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Yankees.
Vogt was starting at catcher in this one after making several starts at first base over the last week. Catcher, first, position doesn't matter when you're swinging it like him. His two-run homer off of Adam Warren in the sixth inning put the A's up 2-0. The bomb was his 11th of the year. He also added a breathing-room sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning. Final score: Vogt 3, Yankees 0. With the three RBI, Vogt's now driven in 38 runs to pair with a flashy .322/.411/.611 batting line. May 31 - 6:47 PM
