Steve Delabar nailed down his first save of the season with a perfect 12th inning in Wednesday's win over the Rays.
Former closer Brett Cecil and likely current closer Roberto Osuna had already pitched in the game, so Delabar was called upon to close things out after the Jays took the lead in the top of the 12th. He made quick work of the Rays, striking out a pair and getting a flyout to end it. Delabar has pitched well for the Jays after bizarrely not making the Opening Day roster, holding a 1.42 ERA and 0.79 WHIP with 21 strikeouts over 19 innings. Osuna is still likely the best bet for saves in Toronto, but Delabar is worth owning, as well. Jun 24 - 4:14 PM
