Carlos Correa went 3-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored in Saturday's defeat of the Angels.
He singled home Alex Bregman in the first inning, doubled home Bregman in the fifth and plated Marwin Gonzalez with a single in the seventh. The young shortstop also worked a walk in the ballgame. Correa, who just turned 23 yesterday, spent seven weeks on the disabled list with a torn thumb ligament over the summer but has been a menace at the plate when healthy. He has a .302 batting average with 21 homers, 74 RBI and 73 runs scored in just 102 games. Sep 23 - 4:40 PM
