Collin McHugh was obliterated in Friday's loss to the Tigers, giving up eight runs on 10 hits in just 1 2/3 innings of work.
McHugh struck out one and didn't walk a batter in the game. The Tigers jumped on him for two runs in the first inning, then beat him into submission with six more in the second, the final two riding home on a three-run homer by Tyler Collins after McHugh had departed. He has been brutally inconsistent this season and now owns a troublesome 4.75 ERA and 1.50 WHIP on the season. He'll look to turn things around on Wednesday in a tough matchup against the Blue Jays.
