According to James Wagner of the Washington Post, the Nationals have promoted prospect shortstop Trea Turner to Triple-A Syracuse.
Turner, the player to be named later in the three-team trade with the Padres and Rays over the winter, was finally officially traded to the Nationals earlier this month. The 21-year-old hit .359 (14-for-39) with a .879 OPS and four stolen bases over 10 games during his brief time with Double-A Harrisburg. He's regarded as Washington's shortstop of the future.
