"I don't think so," he said when asked if there needs to be "any repair between the organization and the player." Love's lost season is raising questions about his future with the Timberwolves, but he's close to Rick Adelman and the team is confident about their future around Love. Saunders revealed that Love is about a week and a half out from doing "unlimited" physical activity, so he'll be good to go well in advance of training camp. May 15

C	1	Nikola Pekovic Sidelined Former Timberwolves GM David Kahn believes Nikola Pekovic is "probably aiming for a double-digit salary" as a restricted free agent during the offseason. It's what we expected to hear, but Pekovic's free agency has the potential to turn into a monster headache for the team. The Wolves aren't good enough as currently constructed, but they can't really afford to lose Pekovic without a suitable replacement. A desperate team will throw Pekovic a multi-year offer at something like $10-12 million per season, a figure that may be difficult for Minnesota to match when looking at all of the holes on the roster. It's rare a team lets a restricted free agent leave, especially someone as critical as Pekovic is to Minnesota. May 3
