Tiago Splitter (ankle) is back in the starting lineup for the Spurs at Golden State in Game 3.
He played 10 minutes off the bench in his return on Wednesday, but was somewhat efficient with five points and four boards. The Spurs are going to need all the rebounding they can get with the Warriors likely firing away from downtown while the Spurs could also try to attack the paint against GSW's smaller forwards.

According to NBA.com, the Mavericks and Hawks have impending restricted free agent C Tiago Splitter on their "short lists."
In his third NBA season, Splitter showed rapid improvement en route to career-highs in points (10.3), rebounds (6.4) and assists (1.6). He'll never be a cornerstone of a team, but size sells in the NBA. Remember that DeAndre Jordan got a four-year, $43M offer sheet from the Warriors as a restricted free agent in 2011, and JaVale McGee signed a four-year, $44M deal last summer. The Spurs may have to deal with an offer sheet once their playoff run is over and the free-agency window opens.

Tiago Splitter admitted that he's struggling with his conditioning following his ankle injury.
Splitter returned for Game 2 after injuring his ankle in the first round vs. the Lakers. "My conditioning is probably not as good as when I was playing, but there's nothing I can do," he said. Fortunately it sounds as if Splitter's ankle came out fine and he'll be available to play going forward.

Boris Diaw is going to start for the Spurs and the amount of time that Splitter will play is still unclear. Splitter said that this was the worst ankle sprain he's ever had, so we'd expect him to get limited minutes.

Sidelined
Tony Parker's (calf) checked out fine after his MRI on Thursday, but he's still not 100 percent healthy.
"Everything is fine," Parker said after practice. "They (doctors) still see a lot of blood. The size is going down. I feel like I'm turning the corner. I feel like I'll be fine for Saturday." Parker is also dealing with some "lingering soreness around his Achilles tendon," but it doesn't sound like it's going to be an issue.
