Rajon Rondo could be dangled in trade talks "in case a deal makes sense," according to the Boston Herald.
We've heard Rondo could be traded in the "right deal" for a while now, but Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook or someone of that nature is not walking through the door. The C's will only move Rondo if it's a trade that unquestionably makes the team better, and it's not expected that scenario will be available to Boston. The Boston Herald writes this "nearly annual look into Rondo's trade value has to eventually reach a limit," but we wouldn't expect it to be during the offseason. The Celtics don't even have a true backup in place at point guard.

Danny Ainge reiterated that Rajon Rondo (torn ACL) is expected to be ready for the start of training camp next season.
Rondo underwent surgery in mid-February, so if he's able to be ready at the start of training camp, it will be a pretty speedy recovery for the Celtics starting point guard. Rondo recently said he's still not walking or jumping in his rehab yet, so it sounds like the bulk of the work to be done in his rehab will be done during the summer months. We'll get multiple updates on his progress between now and then, but so far, so good.

Rajon Rondo (torn ACL) said he's still not walking or jumping in his rehab yet.
"I can’t jump, I can’t walk, so right now I don’t know if I’m on schedule," said Rondo. "I don’t know where I am, because this is the first time I’ve had ACL surgery." Rondo is expected to be ready for training camp next season, but this summer will be critical in achieving that goal.

Rajon Rondo said he didn't hear a "pop" when he tore his ACL and thought he could play through the injury this season.
Rondo said he felt something wasn't right in the knee during his pregame ritual and then went to the hospital to get tests. Incredibly, Rondo said he first heard news of his ACL tear on the radio. "I was like, 'We just got the results, there's no way possible,' " Rondo told ESPN of hearing the reports of the injury on the way back from the hospital. Rondo said he's undergoing an "intense" rehab process and is basically re-learning how to use his leg. He's expected to be ready for training camp next season.

Jared Sullinger (back) said he resumed light workouts two weeks ago as part of a 10-week rehab program.
Sullinger said he hopes to be 100 percent in time for training camp. Back injuries are tough to overcome and can linger throughout careers, but Sullinger said surgery made sure his injury won't be a recurring issue. That's good news considering Sullinger's back was enough of a concern last summer that some teams "red flagged" him ahead of the draft. We'll wait to see if he's fully recovered and how the Celtics' roster shapes up before determining Sullinger's fantasy value for next season.
