Paul Millsap admitted his impending free agency had an impact on him this season.
"I'm human, so no," he said when asked if he was able to put free agency aside during the season. "That's me being honest." The prevailing thought is that the Jazz will either re-sign Millsap or Al Jefferson, but not both with youngsters Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter ready for larger roles.

Paul Millsap scored 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting (including a three) with 10 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block in the Jazz's 95-83 win over the Hornets on Friday.
The Jazz stay a half-game behind the Lakers for the No. 8 seed with the win. Gordon Hayward scored 23 points on 9-of-18 shooting with five threes but not much else in the win.

Paul Millsap shot 2-of-10 from the field in Saturday's win over the Nets for nine points with nine boards, two steals and one turnover in 40 minutes.
He shot 5-of-8 from the line and it was a sub-par game, especially since he received 40 minutes. Millsap came off the bench to start the second half of Friday's game but with Utah vying for a playoff berth he should be fine the rest of the way.

Paul Millsap scored 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting with 10 rebounds and two assists in Friday's win over the Blazers.
Millsap was brought off the bench in the second half because of his three fouls according to Ty Corbin, and the move paid off as everybody played well and the Jazz got a win. As you can see, owners shouldn't panic about his value and the injury to Enes Kanter gave everybody some breathing room.

Sidelined
Enes Kanter's (shoulder) agent says his client is ahead of schedule in his rehab but might not be cleared for basketball activities until August.
Kanter dislocated his non-shooting shoulder on March 27 and had surgery in Chicago a couple weeks later. Truth be told, this isn't that big of a deal. Even if Kanter can't get back on a court until August, he'll still have at least a month to rehab and get into shape before training camp opens. The only drawback is Kanter won't be able to play with the Jazz' summer league team, which Kanter's agent says was unlikely in the first place.
