Wilson Chandler is slated to open the 2013/14 season as a starter with Danilo Gallinari (torn ACL) sidelined.
Chandler averaged 18.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 2.3 3-pointers on 52.5 percent shooting over eight games as a starter this season, so his fantasy outlook would be boosted mightily if he is named the starter. Gallinari is not expected to return until January or even possibly February of 2014, giving Chandler plenty of time to thrive in a starter's role. Fantasy owners can't forget about Chandler, who could be a steal of a value pick on draft day.

Wilson Chandler hit 6-of-14 shots and five 3-pointers on his way to a playoff career-high 19 points in Tuesday's Game 5 win over the Warriors.
He didn't do much else, finishing with two rebounds and zero assists, but owners in playoff fantasy leagues probably aren't complaining about this one.

Wilson Chandler fouled out in just 23 minutes on Sunday, finishing with six points, three assists and two steals in a Game 4 loss to the Warriors.
Corey Brewer started the second half over Evan Fournier, who was clearly overmatched, and Brewer finished with 14 points and three 3-pointers. The Nuggets will try to keep the series going on Tuesday in Denver, but are in a 3-1 hole and clearly have their backs against a wall.

George Karl has "hinted" at starting Wilson Chandler at center, according to the Denver Post.
The move would allow for the benching of Kosta Koufos while sliding Kenneth Faried back into his usual spot at power forward. While it's certainly not set in stone that Chandler could start inside, we anticipate the swingman playing big minutes no matter what his role is on Friday.

Danilo Gallinari (partially torn ACL) could resume basketball activities by December.
Gallo was originally expected to be out through February, but he got some good news when doctors determined his ACL was not fully torn. He said in a recent video posted on Twitter, "I underwent a healing response procedure, in which ligament is stimulated to respond naturally ... This procedure changes completely my rehab and recovery time." He's still expected to miss the first month of the season, at a minimum.
