Ryan Anderson started at PF with Anthony Davis (knee) out on Sunday, scoring 20 points with four 3-pointers, 12 rebounds and one block.
Davis is done for the year, but of course that only includes one more game on Wednesday vs. Dallas. Robin Lopez also picked up some extra minutes, notching 10 points and 12 boards, and both players should be locked into active fantasy lineups.

Ryan Anderson will start at power forward on Friday, as expected.
With Anthony Davis (knee) out for the year, Davis should finish the regular season as the full-time starting power forward and is locked into major minutes the rest of the way.

Ryan Anderson scored 17 points off the bench in New Orleans' road win on Sunday, hitting 6-of-18 FGs with two 3-pointers, 10 rebounds and two turnovers.
It wasn't Anderson's finest hour, but fantasy owners will happily take it after he shot 1-for-18 in the Hornets past two road games. With four games on deck next week, he should never leave your active lineups.

Ryan Anderson missed on all 10 of his field goal attempts on Friday, finishing with four points on free throws, six rebounds and a block.
Ouch. Anderson always bounces back so there's nothing to worry about in that regard, but this is hard to swallow at this time of the year.

Multiple reports from Venezuela indicate Greivis Vasquez will have surgery on both ankles during the offseason.
The news is passed along from Bourbon Street Shots, a True Hoop affiliate of the ESPN Network. One report from Venezuela indicates Vasquez will need 12-to-16 weeks for recovery, and it's possible this impacts Vasquez's ability to play in the FIBA tournament in late August. Vasquez dealt with ankle injuries late in the year, but there has been no word on any sort of surgery or procedure to date. Stay tuned, we shouldn't have to wait too much longer to know more.

A source told the New Orleans Times-Picayune that Eric Gordon trade rumors have "no merit."
Gordon is expected to be shopped by the Pelicans as the team looks to get out from under his contract, but right now it appears the team is committed to keeping him. We'd expect that to change as we enter the offseason and more teams begin to get active in shaping their plans for next season, but he'll remain with the Pelicans for now.

Austin Rivers says he would prefer to play point guard next season.
Rivers was drafted as a bit of a combo guard and the Hornets used him at shooting guard while Eric Gordon was sidelined. Of course, Rivers had arguably the worst rookie season ever, at least from a shooting point of view. The rookie shot just 37 percent from the field and 32 percent from 3-point range in 61 games. "I played best when I was a one. Moving forward, that's what I'm going to try to do," Rivers said.

No surprise for either one after their seasons in New Orleans last year. Now each will be inaugural members of the new Pelicans squad, and both will be integral in what the team does into the future.

Jason Smith (shoulder surgery) has one year left on his contract at $2.5 million, but it's only guaranteed for $1 million if he's waived before June 30th.
Smith said recently that he's "making progress" in his rehab and it will be interesting to see if the Pelicans keep him on their roster -- $2.5 million isn't unreasonable for a solid backup PF/C, but Smith seems injury-prone after having three major surgeries in the past six years.
