The Hawks didn't even make restricted free agent Jeff Teague an extension offer before last October's deadline.
The Hawks could be regretting not locking up Teague earlier. Now he's a restricted free agent and coming off his best season as a pro. Teague set career-highs in points (14.6), assists (7.2) and 3-pointers per game (1.1). He'll likely be asking for something just less than fellow point guards Ty Lawson (4 years, $48M) and Jrue Holiday (4 years, $41M) got last fall. The Hawks could also just make Teague a qualifying offer and then decide to match or decline any offer sheets that come in.

Jeff Teague suffered an elbow contusion in the second quarter and will start the second half on Saturday.
Teague hit his elbow on the floor and left the game. He should be fine and isn't wearing any sort of protection on his elbow. The Hawks had a big first half thanks to Indiana having some major offensive issues and they will need a win tonight to have a chance in this series.

Jeff Teague turned in a solid outing in a Game 1 loss to the Pacers on Sunday, shooting 7-of-14 from the field for 21 points with seven assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.
Teague's attacking style held up and his solid shooting deserves a ton of credit with how quickly Indiana's defense collapses in the halfcourt. Atlanta shooting 50 percent from the field as a team and still losing by 17 doesn't bode well for them, though. Teague may have to push the tempo and get more than the 14 fastbreak points than the team put up today in order to even push this series to six games.

Jeff Teague (rest) will not play in the regular-season finale Wednesday.
The Hawks are resting anyone and everyone that plays regular minutes Wednesday night and Teague is no exception. Shelvin Mack will start at point guard against the Knicks.

Lou Williams (knee surgery) said that his rehab is "coming along great."
Williams called the summer a big one for himself, referring to it as a "challenge that I'm ready for." Williams still can't even jog, so he's got a long ways to go before he's ready to play. Williams was able to ride a stationary bike without knee pain for the first time last week and is also doing stand-still shooting, but he's got several hurdles left to clear.

Zaza Pachulia (Achilles) is progressing well in his rehab.
"It's great," he said. "I don't have any crutches. So I'm moving every day. I can't wait to start working in the gym." It sounds like Pachulia is aiming to be ready for training camp, but he'll need to clear several hurdles before that can happen. The doctors have told him he should be able to be ready for camp, so we'd expect he will be barring any setbacks. He's an unrestricted free agent.
