Paul George scored a team-high 23 points with six boards, six assists, one steal and two 3-pointers on 7-of-18 shooting in 43 minutes during Thursday's Game 5 loss.
His shot hasn't been falling at in this series, making just 36.1 percent of his shot attempts. George's saving grace in this series has been his terrific defense, but with the way the Pacers couldn't get anything going offensively, it wasn't enough. What's more, George has turned the ball over a whopping 5.0 times per game in this series, which was really another ugly point about the Pacers on Thursday. He and the Pacers will look to close out the Knicks at home on Saturday.

Paul George hit 6-of-19 shots and just 1-of-9 3-pointers, but still finished with 18 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two blocks in Tuesday's Game 3 win over the Knicks.
George outplayed Carmelo Anthony (again) and anytime that happens, the Knicks aren't likely to win. Game 5 is Thursday in New York, and Melo and J.R. Smith better figure things out before that one tips off. Meanwhile, George looks like a late first-round fantasy pick next year.

Paul George went 2-of-12 from downtown in the Pacers' Game 3 victory, and the team as a whole racked up 33 attempts from deep.
"I don’t really like taking 33 threes," Frank Vogel said after the game. "But the way this [Knicks] defense plays, that’s what they're giving us." Indiana ranked 22nd in the NBA in 3-point percentage this season, and they connected on just 11 of their attempts on Saturday, but the end result was a double-digit victory.

Paul George led the Pacers with 20 points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and three 3-pointers on 8-of-16 shooting, along with seven turnovers, as the Pacers lost 105-79 in Tuesday's Game 2 in New York.
The series is even at 1-1 with Game 3 set for Saturday in Indy. David West (13) and George Hill (12) were the only other Pacers to hit double figures tonight. They entered the fourth quarter down just six points, but were outscored 33-13 in the final stanza and went more than nine minutes in the fourth quarter without scoring a point. They watched the Knicks go on a 36-4 run, and while this is not the outcome the Pacers were looking for, they've got to be happy to leave New York with homecourt advantage in the series.

Sidelined
George Hill (concussion) has been cleared to play in Game 6 on Saturday and will start with no limitations.
He remained symptom-free the whole way following the NBA's Return-to Participation Exertion Protocol and team physicians cleared him to play tonight. The Pacers were a different team with Hill out in Game 5, shooting 36.2 percent from the field while not taking care of the ball with 19 turnovers. D.J. Augustin will move back to the to the bench.

Danny Granger (knee surgery) said he'll "hopefully" be ready for training camp.
Granger's knee injury was not cut-and-dry. He didn't realize there was a problem until training camp, tried to come back unsuccessfully and ended up playing in just five games. Now that he's had surgery, the situation is even more hairy. Once a fantasy darling thanks to his versatile skill set, Granger will come with a ton of red flags in 2013-14 fantasy drafts. He turned 30 years old on Saturday.
