Chauncey Billups, who has no intention of retiring, said he anticipates being fully healthy at the start of next season.
Billups wants to play two more seasons, but it's not clear if the Clippers plan to re-sign him. A year removed from Achilles surgery, Billups is just not the player he used to be. "This year was a really, really tough year for me personally," he said.

The 37-year-old veteran hopes to re-sign with the Clippers, after which he wants to move into a front-office job. "My desire has never been to coach," he said. "I would feel better about being in management and putting a team together." As for the rest of his playing career, staying healthy remains the obvious key to Billups' success.

L.A.'s disappointing first-round exit doesn't seem to have swayed Billups, who has said all along that he wants to re-sign with the Clippers. He admitted that he wasn't 100 percent healthy during the playoffs, which was glaringly obvious as he averaged a mere 6.2 points on 30.6 percent

Billups' health has failed him at various points this season, but his presence on the Clippers bench is invalauble and Chris Paul loves having him around. Depending on the price tag, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Billups finish his career in Los Angeles.
